Breath of Fire and Breath of Fire II. I played them both for the first time recently and the encounter rate is absolutely insane and infuriating. The semi-poor translation of II also does the story a disservice. I don't think the game need a full remake, but a remaster with some quality of life upgrades (such as adjusting the encounter rate or even giving the player control over the encounter rate la Bravely Default) and a better translation could go a long way towards improvement.
