Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between poor writing of a contradictory and the good writing of an irrational character. Shows up a lot in revenge stories, imo.

I dont particularly enjoy the activity of reading, but I do prefer fiction over other genres. Which part of the question do I base my answer on?

I just interpreted it as "do you like fiction?" I think a better question would have been "agree/disagree: fiction is better than non-fiction."

This is too complex. I started reading it thinking about how good I am at imagining scenarios but then finished reading it thinking about how asocial I am.

Yeah, "I played make-believe a lot when I was a kid" would have been better, followed up with "I craved social interaction as a young child."
