I'm not sure if addressing an explosive story that broke that exact day (I believe) is the best idea. Especially for something as serious as this. If one detail changes, and you go hard on it, the opposition will have plenty of ammo to pretend like it's fake news, especially in this climate. I'm not sure that Biden addressing a story that's breaking that same day is a reasonable expectation. I get your point, I just really disagree. Especially given that the optics now is that he played Despacito from his phone which is cringe at the best of times. Maybe my timing is off, maybe he didn't have time to even be aware of the story. But there's been radio silence on this.
