I don't think it's necessarily bad, but it didn't really appeal to me.
I think that if you're into the Netflix Castlevania series (I wasn't), you might find something about it that you enjoy.
I haven't played the game, but the series is basically a dragon devastates this town and creates the Arisen. the Arisen goes after the dragon in revenge, and finds a pawn along the way. and he basically does these "side-quests", which I guess show that he's slowly losing his humanity
Most of that is true in the game except for that last part about them losing their humanity. Kind of. The lore of the game gets kind of weird at the end. Basically the Arisen can become something that isn't human, but that's just 1 way things can end for the Arisen depending on what they do.
