Mandatory "diversity" requirements diminish you as an individual. You are just a checkbox to be filled in.

Do you lack the ability to judge someone based on their work and project that onto everyone else or something?

It's only being forced because people had decades to do it themselves and showed that they're gonna keep overlooking talented minorities to cater to the status quo. Because there's still a big chunk of America that disconnects as soon as they see a minority as a lead.
