Have them be guys who ought to be disgruntled with how they were used, as perceived by the fans. Like, this could have been used to make instant stars but they're all fucking losers and geeks. The lack of creativity with this is just mind-blowing to me. I don't understand how they take an idea and just make it as lame as possible.
