Hundreds of times. MY point was that, although I associated the three symbols immediately prior to the element symbol with the set, the fourth appeared to be attached to what came before it, not what came after.

and so the only thing that would make sense would be that that comma was really supposed to be a semicolon, even though there's a very clear interpretation with it still being a comma?
