So now I'm just waiting on Zen 3 to release so I can replace my 7700k finally. I'm telling you, man...you'd be a-okay for gaming with a 3700x, especially at 1440p or higher. You're paying a $200+ premium for performance gains you'll barely see outside of 1080p.
