Might help to try making the tiniest changes rather than go all in at once and fail. Reduce your intake of calories by like 100 per week and take an X minute walk per X days. Then try to make that feel natural instead of something you're forcing. Don't weigh yourself, don't pay attention to yourself. Rather than expect to see change, just let change surprise you. Might deliver a better feedback loop than the disappointment.
