| Topic | Remember the early 90's when parents thought the SNES was a scam? |

They thought it interfered with school and things like that but back then having things like a VCR and game console was a status of having money. At least that's how I remembered it.I remember video cameras being a symbol of wealth, but VCRs were hella cheap. Mom was a single parent and we had one before I was even born. Video game consoles were admittedly all over the place price wise, but my step dads family grew up in damn near poverty and they still had a Colecovison. Granted a used beat to shit Colecovison, but they had it nonetheless. I dunno maybe Im looking at it the wrong way but this hatred of games and somewhat electronics in general I remember being a huge thing in the 90s. One of the few things I remember vividly from being really young. Some kids at my school werent allowed video games period. --- Balenciaga hoodies and Gucci shoes #FreeMelly ...
