I don't want that right to go away. Well I doubt there is ever going to be a law requiring everyone to vote in America. Of course you have the right not to vote, but what is the benefit of that? If everyone voted, the direction of the country would be more in line with how everyone (as a whole) wants it to go. Now maybe half of eligible voters are deciding the direction of the US, how can that be a good thing? Take it to the extremes, what if everyone voted vs. what if only one person voted.
