You are vastly more likely to run into issues on pc gaming then console, but this triggers pc gamers so much. PC brings more options, more options brings more problems, more problems brings more solutions to those problems.

Tbh I think this has to do with how much tolerance people have for problem solving in their hobbies. If everybody has a certain tolerance for minor problems they're willing to solve on a regular basis. Let's say everybody has a base "dealing with problem resource" that varies from person to person and is replenished with sleep/relaxation. Now you subtract problems you deal with regularly in terms of finances, home maintenance, work, family matters, etc. And low on that priority list is going to be problems with PC gaming. By the time you get down there, have you already run out of your reserves?

This is probably where the "problems" divide happens I imagine (imagine being the key word since this is all coming from my ass). Either you have enough shit to deal with on a daily basis/have a low tolerance for this kind of stuff, or you don't have that many annoying issues in other parts of your life/you have a high tolerance for this kind of stuff.
