| Topic | This might sound like a cope, but does anyone else prefer to be single? |

Even when living with other people (largely my parents) I'd keep to myself for the most part. I've been living on my own for the past three years now and have had no relationship in those three years. That's not to say I don't get lonely, and that's not to say I haven't tried to find a relationship. I've had a few relationships in the past, but none lasting longer than a year apart from one. Perhaps my methods are poor or I'm just not presenting myself to my full capacity, but even when I do make an effort, it always takes a long time for me to make a connection that sticks. And I mean months or years long time. I want a companion, and someone to share my life with, but I'm not so needy of it that I'll despair if I'm not in a relationship.
