Used to play solo board games at coffee shops all the time and then Id meet people (usually grad students as grad students seem to love board games) and have more people to hang out with. I didnt usually even order coffee at my old favorite two shops, I prefer tea. Clench281 posted... You shouldn't really be hanging out in coffee shops. People get their coffee on the way to work or during a work break. There's probably not enough business to warrant staying open past the afternoon.
