This is a little different. Brei Larson made a social economics and political stance, and then doubled down on it hard.

It's her stance. That's ok. But it's not everyone's stance. Not everyone has to share the same beliefs. I don't think other actors in the MCU have some duty to support anything they don't believe in.

The thing is, the trolls criticizing Larson with anything other than an intelligent discourse, were just disgusting racist/sexist individuals. There really isn't any need to come to Larson's aid for that. Anybody with any semblance of intelligence can clearly see that those trolls are evil nasty human beings. So why even give them attention in the first place.

What Larson and her supporters actually wanted, was for RDJ, Chris Evans, and the rest to go online and express support for her social-political viewpoints. I don't feel that's fair.

In the case of Chris Pratt, he's NOT being attacked by your stereotypical hateful troll. He's being attacked by left leaning individuals with significant clout...just for being a Christian. That's terrible, and due to the nature of who is attacking him, it acty helps if other people Influence come to his aid.

Chris Pratt literally did nothing but exist. He went to church. That's all. Brei Larson on the other hand was advocating for alot of social political, left leaning ideologies. Whether you agree with them or not, it's clear that these two situations are not same.

This whole, how dare you defend Chris Pratt for being Christian, when you didn't show support for Brei Larson's "insert left winged idelogoy viewpoint here" thing is fucking batshit crazy.

That kind of victimhood mentality could be applied to anything really. For example, say some hate group desecrated Chadwick Bossman's grave, and RDJ goes on Twitter to denounce it. Some Brie Larson Stan could reply "you hypocrite, here you all defending Chadwick's Estate against white supremacists, but where were you when Brie Larson was..."

Fucking crazy the world that we live in.
