If it wasn't for COVID I think Trump would've had no trouble whatsoever getting re-elected. I didn't think he was doing a good job, but the economy was good, and he had a ridiculously high approval rating among republicans. 90% of republicans or something like that approved of the job he was doing. He pretended to be governing a utopia while being unhinged, unstable, unintelligent. He was never equipped to handle a real crisis. Anything bad that happened was always the left's fault, Pelosi's fault, Obama's fault, etc. I think COVID just meant Trump couldn't coast anymore through what were relatively peaceful times and brought everything that was wrong with him to the surface Do you think Dubya responded to 9/11 poorly?
