Also the anime director tried to frame it as erotic so...yeah. And yeah I'm late to it because I'm at work, but the idea that their suicide/sacrifice as being glorified as something grand and not just the lesser evil is the result of desensitization to murder in mass media versus suicide. Taking a moral high ground of it being inherently worse when the other options is dozens or hundreds of future murders doesn't fly with me as being based in logic at all. --- ACAB ...
