The crust and sauce got a lot better after we read the elements of pizza by Ken Forkish. Sourdough just has a different quality to it that is very difficult to replicate. I've been using some techniques I've learned from weeks beer brewing to make the sourdough more interesting. Thats cool and all, but still doesnt really make me want homemade...
