As for me specifically... I guess if I had to give a reason other than "it just doesn't interest me", I'd say that I'm more content with who I am than most. I'm happy on my own. Other people stress me out, anyway. All I want is my family always by my side and I'm set for life. I have Aspergers as well, but the difference is that I want to start a relationship. I understand that I will NOT always have my family I have right now by my side, and would have to start a new one. The same would go for you.
