I never said that. Of course crops modified through selective breeding or cross-breeding, old techniques, are GMO. But, when you put amphibian or viral dna into a plant cell, and think you know the outcome is safe, that's a level of hubris only an ignorant man would stand by.

Or it was a shunned scientist or doctor and not representative of the overall census.

Glyphosate isn't a naturally occurring compound and is the principal ingredient in round up pesticide, widely used because it was claimed to be safe and the GMO crops wouldn't contain a any significant amount since they were made to resist it. Plus it's used to kill crops at harvesting. The Canadians have confirmed the FDAs findings regarding glyphosate. I don't want to eat foods with cancer-causing agents in them.
