It holds up because health care is like any other good; if you don't want one provider's service, you die oh you mean the incredibly over regulated american healthcare market? because if you look at the almost completely deregulated fields like ophthalmology and dermatology you might notice that the cost, success rate, and availability of lasik have all done nothing but improve, as have numerous skincare products etc. ive never made the claim that the US healthcare system wasnt broken. what i take issue with is everyone's claim that socializing is the ONLY possible solution --- I think there might be something wrong with you ...
