Promate from within: Vanna White

She wasn't even a good hostess on Wheel of Fortune, though. She stumbled over her lines and talking to guests.

And that's taking her age off the table (she's 63) and the fact that she'd be a poor fit for the show in general, it's not exactly promoting from within. There are a lot of people who actually work on Jeopardy who could be promoted from within. She just happens to work at the same network for a different show and one where, although it probably wouldn't take much to replace her, she'd be missed.

Honestly, even if Pat died, I doubt Vanna would be asked to step up full-time in his shoes, let alone take over for the host of another show.

It took a while for me to get used to it but Carey is PERFECT for The Price Is Right.

tbh, it's one of those casting choices you just hear and think, "Yeah, I can see it."

IT's kind of amazing that Bob outlived Alex Trebek too. I mean he's easily 95 years old!

Well, he didn't get pancreatic cancer. He's had other medical issues, but nothing that's followed him for years and years.

I guess Bob retired at 83. While Alex mentioned considering retiring at some point, he suggested it wouldn't happen any time soon.

With Drew Carry hosting "The Price is Right" and Wayne Brady hosting "Let's Make a Deal", the only right choice is Ryan Stiles.

While he'd be an interesting choice, he's also 61 which makes that a bit of a non-starter.
