Interestingly enough, countries with female leaders have been handling Covid better than countries with male leaders, on average. In general, though, it's going to depend on the specific woman and who she's running against. Voting based on sex is pretty silly, even if there's some need to preferentially vote for women if one wishes to counteract the preferential votes for men.
