| Topic | My mother needs help with my nephew's Xbox Live Account. Can MS really do this? |
| XxKrebsxX 11/17/20 8:41:09 PM #1: | My mother, I feel, is getting jerked around by Microsoft. I can't call because it is past 5:00pm PST so I'll have to call tomorrow. But here is the problem. My nephew is 8 years old. So my mother (his grandmother) buys him Xbox Live subscriptions when he behaves well/performs well in school one moth at a time. During COVID and the shutdowns, she bought him one month so he can entertain himself. When the month expired, Microsoft never deactivated his Xbox Live and of course if he can keep getting and playing online he is going to do so, right? So now he's doing well in school and my mom tried to buy him a month on live so he can play but it keeps getting blocked. She called Microsoft customer support and these fucking idiots actually pulled the "Well, because of COVID we couldn't deactivate the account due to staffing problems. To get a new subscription for Xbox Live you'll have to pay the $20 for the two months we didn't deactivate the account". LOL That is the king of that's Microsoft's fucking problem. It's only $20 but it's the principle of the matter. He didn't do any microtransactions. He just played his ass online because he was able to. Can these fools legit hold this stance and have a leg to stand on? ... Copied to Clipboard! |
