I havent followed anything Boruto but Naruto was almost Dragon Ball levels of death and suicide attacks mean nothing. Using the 9 tails was supposed to kill him, using the 8th gate was supposed to kill guy, Narutos town has tons of casualties but Pain brings them all back. Then theres a whole technique bringing back actual dead characters who still have all their strength like Madara.

Yeah, Pain reviving the entire village was where my motivation for the show started to falter. It's a real shame too, since the show was still doing a good job of churning out exposition and sweet fights (I personally loved both Jiraiya vs. the Six Paths fight and the Naruto vs. Pain fight), but then that happened and it all feels downhill from there.
