He totally died, right? g0ldie posted... basically, all of the chakra (the special force that allows ninjas to do their moves, amongst other things) comes from the World Tree, and this is something an alien race plants on worlds to drain them of their life and resources so the tree can produce a chakra fruit, which gives the being that eats it immense powers At this point I have to assume Kishimoto is just going as out there as he can, either for shock factor or to get fired and not have to draw manga any more. Or he's hoping to pull a DBZ and continue the series forever, with a new "Strongest being in the universe! Ever! ...No really!" showing up every arc. --- Bosses are immune to the eat command so it won't be possible to end the final boss fight of the game by eating it. -VeghEsther ...
