I'm 21 and I'm an introverted shut-in due to mild developmental delays, physical obstacles, and previous mental pains -- so this isn't actually that bad of a description haaaa. fair enough...but like...I'm 42. Tom Hanks has been a pretty huge movie star for about as long as I've been aware of cinema. like...Big? Splash? Forrest Gump? Castaway? even ignoring the past 20 years of his career...he's arguably iconic for like a dozen roles. in recent History, among others he's played Captain Philips, Sully, and Mr Fred Fucking Rogers. I genuinely find it hard to believe anyone on the planet that speaks english and isn't wearing a loincloth daily has no idea who this man is.
