I had a seizure at work. I have health insurance that I pay 300 a month for, and yet the ambulance ride cost 900 dollars. And then at the hospital, I stayed in a bed for four hours hooked up to saline solution. The doctor popped in once to ask how I was doing. I said 'not good', and then they sent me home. Total bill was 3000 dollars. Could have uber'd home, laid in bed and had my gf bring me a bottle of water and it would have cost ten dollars for the same level of care
