Netflix actually paid them to stop throttling traffic. Netflix then passed the cost of those payments onto their consumers by increasing the subscription price. The price never came back down afterward. Without net neutrality regulations, we're essentially just trusting that ISPs won't do that again. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
