Ah I like the pride of victory and the achievement of being the best - so when I play achievement games I don't want some idling game, I want to get something no one else has. I use sites like Astats to find what the rarest achievement are. Other than that..,. VICTORY - I tend to find the hardest possible games so I can dominate them - while I can do this single player I also enjoy this for competitive multiplayer, but typically I don't like "team" games for this same reason. As such I tend to avoid story (VN) or tech driven games and look for more niche stuff A great example is "Frozen Synapse", which I still hold up as the greatest competitive 1 on 1 there is due to the mind games you have to play.
