The difference is that you're carrying over things like skills you learned and you can buy them instantly if you want, if you have the renown points. Difficulty is a separate thing. You can keep saving over your old files and everything you do is carried over. So like if you had your Sword rank at S+, you can instantly buy that in the new playthrough. And if you get Authority to S+ in that playthrough, you can buy Sword and Authority S+ in the next playthrough etc. --- I just want to restore this world back to the natural.
