In the Legends continuity, he literally blasted his way out of the sarlacc, given he still had plenty of weapons in the suit, but not before spending enough time inside to cause some damage. It's also possible that a reference in Chapter 9 is the answer. Vanth suggests that the krayt dragon is the apex predator of Tatooine as it was discovered in an abandoned sarlacc pit, which the krayt dragon had eaten. It could have been the same one and Fett was able to escape while the sarlacc was in the process of being torn asunder. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] This is my only nitpick of the episode. It's been five years and I guess we're meant to assume that only now is Fett looking for his armor?
