It's hilarious how I've been reading most of these negative reviews of Cyberpunk, and it's people rating it lower because "it's just a video game." That's literally why they didn't give the game a high score (and in some cases a 7/10), because it didn't make them think they're in a new state of mind, rather that they're playing a video game. Of course they complained about bugs, but really the issues I'm seeing with most reviews can be attributed to people not being blown away.

It's a fucking video game. Keep your expectations in check.

Most of the professional reviews I've read hardly talk about the actual gameplay, story, progression, etc. either. Rather they fawn about the game and how it either meets or doesn't meet their expectations. I guess this could be due to the fact that CD Projekt Red wants them to be a bit hush hush due to the embargo (no gameplay footage either) but in the end, I do not recommend reading or watching any reviews at this moment because they will hardly provide any information, and if you do, take them with a grain of salt.

I like to pick on Game Informer but their review is particularly bad. It reads more like a preview of the game, providing absolutely zero new information and nothing we don't already know. I could literally write the same exact review right now, without having played the game. It's a waste of time to try to read it. https://www.gameinformer.com/review/cyberpunk-2077/cyberpunk-2077-review-a-wild-time-in-night-city

RPG Site has a pretty lengthy review that is actually decent, though.
