For example, one could still stream a Nintendo game if they follow Nintendo's guidelines: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/networkservice_guideline/en/index.html But, if one wanted to stream an SSBM tournament with modified versions of SSBM, it would become possible to get into serious legal trouble. I don't think Nintendo has a copyright on a video of a particular match of SSBM unless they produced the match.
