Topic	Has anyone ever been engaged, then broken it off?

Some nights I wouldn't be able to sleep as I would have this feeling of impending doom just from being with her - but she'd convinced me she'd get better. She'd convinced me she would take her life if I left, etc. I bought that for years. Typing it all out makes me realise how stupid/crazy the whole thing was.
