I did that thing I did a while ago, where I walked to the next town over and back again. 7 miles there, 7 miles back, and a few miles wandering around it. I've only been there a few times, but I saw some new stuff. There were these two strange looking buildings, small towers, looked old. I spent ages walking around the suburbs that had appeared around them, but couldn't even locate a way in. I assumed they were minor tourist attractions or something. Not even sure what purpose they served. One was about twenty five feet tall, the other was maybe forty feet tall. I walked along some muddy path, and a rather narrow metal bridge.

The town itself is a small one, much smaller than where I live. Pretty dull, actually. Still nice to go somewhere different, however. The weather was wintry.

What do people think about going for extremely long walks?
