I do it all the time. Honestly moving on so quickly requires so many aspects of your life to be pleasant and so much tools to come to terms with what happened, and that's what a lot of people don't understand. A lot of times a bad job also extends to the near future, where if things worked out in your previous job, your current situation would be so much better, and that could also be a reason to be bitter.

I have read in psychology books that often times your brain will constantly recall various events repeatedly because it wants you to deal with it. Aside from those rare cases where a person will actively try to forget a trauma, which happens more frequently to younger people (like really young), most of the times your most recent unhappiest memories will haunt your mind over and over, and it's just normal.
