Honestly, I have always feared death, but I also feared eternity for the exact reasons the show mentioned. I have never seen a show address eternity the way this show did, and its solution actually made me feel at peace. This inspired many conversations with my wife after the show ended.
I don't fear "death" as much as the process of dying. I am not religious so i am not really convinced anything would happen after biology and chemistry ceased, but even if eternity exist, i always thought i preferred oblivion compared to eternity even if it's all bliss, for the exact reason the show explored. How they solved it is just astoundingly profound, both the themes they try to explore and its presentation it's just perfect.

Plot wise, it also brings conclusions to all characters like you said. It's honestly one of those rare endings where you feel satisfied, but like not wanting more because it ended so perfectly. Kinda like eating a real wholesome meal that leave you perfectly filled and you don't crave for extra treats. Well that's what kinda being "ready" for the door in the show.
