| Lopen 12/14/20 5:36:19 PM #14: | First movie - well paced movie with exceptional world building and decent enough plot and action thrown in Second movie - uses what the first movie established to create a satisfying loop of pseudophilosophical babble into great fight scene ad nauseam Third movie - matrix movie subverts our expectations by having maybe 20% of the movie actually in the damn matrix I actually think the second movie and the first are much closer in quality than the second and third are, and in a lot of ways prefer Reloaded outright just because hey, I don't really need much more than some good promos into fun fight scenes over and over. Like the first is an "objectively better movie" and all that, and honestly the only reason reloaded's babbling between the fight scenes works is because the first movie set everything up so well, but reloaded is just fun and hype in a way that the first movie can't reach. Revolutions is just a bad film --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
