Been meaning to post in this thread, I keep seeing it

I've been eating better, lost 40 lbs since May. Definitely doing better, but haven't tried exercising yet. No excuses, I'm just a lazy ass lmao. But it is a thought, and I plan on doing it at some point.

You can start and see really surprising progress on a really simple routine -- pushups and bodyweight squats x3 sets every morning or something

There is something that is stopping me from starting exercise

The reason I've had so much success with dieting is because I'm using mathematics to determine how much I should eat. I never exceed 1400 calories a day, unless I'm with friends or family which is extremely rare. Every product I buy has the amount of calories listed on it, so it's easy.

if I introduce exercising, I don't know how I can mathematically determine anything from that. As far as I know, there's no way to know how many calories you burn from doing a workout. Am I wrong on that? And people keep telling me "you should increase your calorie amount and just work out instead" but that completely throws away the mathematics involved.
