they used his story as inspiration in the first episode of NBC's "Nurses". it's actually a canadian show but NBC has been showing a few Canadian shows cause the virus made them slow down production of home grown shows. so using these to fill in the schedule. in the pilot episode of Nurses, there is a terrorist attack of a car rampage like in this case, and a bunch of injured come to the hospital but then one of the "victims" reveals to a nurse that he was the attacker driving the car and he says he hates women and minorities. I think it was based on this case
