But does morality come from religion or something else? Also, if morality is common sense, why do people still commit crimes against each other? Simply put - we don't know where morality 'came' from. We know it is a social construct, but what causes us to know that murder is wrong, theft is wrong, etc? For the youngest people (children), they learn that breaking moral rules results in punishment - so ultimately in modern society, morals are 'taught' by our parents/caretakers through the use of negative/positive punishment or positive/negative rewarding.
