I don't even understand what you're trying to say Xenoblade did. Are you arguing that RPGs suddenly became extremely popular in the west because Xenoblade sold a million copies on a dying system? AAA RPGs were still in bad shape for like 5 years after Xenoblade came out, so it had no impact on that. Niche RPGs still occupy the same space that they occupied before Xenoblade.
