| Zithers 12/25/20 10:24:30 PM #1: | I'm convinced movies these days are so long is because studios want them to soak up as many screens in theaters as possible and kill off the competition on opening weekend. Nothing to do with artistic merit and simply another way to make more money than the other studios. Of course this backfired since the movie isn't in theaters now and everyone I know says it's horrible. Also most other blockbusters this long are bad. Just no reason for movies to be this long. 100 minutes is a fine length. Make something like that. Don't need to do a prologue that lasts 3-5 scenes before the movie *really* begins or do an epilogue that's ten minutes long after the movie *really* ended. Honestly they should put me in charge of Hollywood. I would fix everything. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
