I would definitely argue that purpose does not evoke notions of destiny automatically, it can just as easily be viewed as self given instead of God given. Like exactly what you said was a purpose driven life. Passion is not purpose. The notion of purpose is something that you're meant to do. Unless you were raised for a specific reason (or purpose), nobody is "meant" to do anything. Passion is something you enjoy doing or want to do. Can they align?
