Amazon is saying their stock of it is damaged, even though they havent received it yet.

As I said it was damaged before it reached Amazon. It wouldn't count as in stock when the item is damaged and they can't sell it. This is the bottom line and the answer to the TCs question. Having worked in online distribution I know this to be the case. At this point I'm just amusing myself.

Even if the new stock was damaged, Amazon would know yet, not would it matter since its not the reason his package hasnt shipped...

It hasn't shipped because it was damaged and unavailable meaning out of stock as the TC claimed in the very first post of this topic. I know it's complicated stuff we are dealing with here so I understand how difficult it is to understand Amazon wording. I think we need the great minds of a three year old to work this one out.
