The ST's disappointing character arcs, pointless casino sidequests, and overall trainwreck that was TRoS are a lot easier to tolerate with the core cast being played by likeable actors trying their best to spin shit into gold, or at least rolling with the punches in a way that I found endearing. On the other hand, key moments in the PT that should have otherwise been monumental were absolutely ruined by robotic dialogue and lifelessly-delivered lines, oftentimes from otherwise-great actors. Which in my book goes to show that Lucas is of greatest benefit to the franchise when he's not in the director's chair. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. ...
