The manager generally must follow through with all problems. It was very easy for this young lad to prove the phone was his and not this crazy womans. This song and dance isn't needed.

Considering she picked this kid out for having a phone and her first instinct is that "he stole it, he can't have a phone that looks identical to mine" a safe assumption can be made that she did it because he was black.

A manager is not a fucking police officer. He had no right to intervene and enable this crazy womans behavior. He should have just called the police or security once it escalated to a conflict.

Also, if someone stops you in the middle of the street and says you are wearing their underwear, would you strip right there to prove your innocence? Why should this person have to prove to a fucking hotel manager that he didn't steal a phone?
