Doesn't it make sense that people are mad over being lied to on such a level? Like, knowingly lied to? I don't care if they go under either way but it seems like they intentionally burned the good will they've earned just for short term gain I've had this argument in 20 other topics and discord servers and in person by now, so I'm not going to delve into it again. Suffice to say it makes absolutely no sense saying that they intentionally screwed people over. It makes a hell of a lot more sense that it was a mixture of Peter Molyneux-level genuine internal hype about their game, and the game getting caught in the vicious cycle of development hell. Point being, shit happens.
