Now that console Skyrim / Fallout 4 have mods I'm able to - among other things - turn items static and grid-place them. Hell of a lot less of a headache, but also opens up so many new possibilities that I ultimately end up wasting more time on it than I used to. I'm currently replaying New Vegas for the first time in a good while, and thought I'd decorate my Novac hotel room a bit. After a couple hours of hyperactive physics and not being able to stack things the way I wanted, I remembered how little I missed vanilla decorating. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. ...
